This is a story has two main characters. Two simple yet very special people, with their families, their flock and their farm. We lived alongside them for a whole year and learned that each season implies a constant perseverance dictated by the cycle of nature that never stops. Both of them have full-time jobs and everything else is part of a sort of a “hobby” that is just as demanding as a full-time job.
We made a documentary film that is green marketing for Salewa, but above all wants to raise awareness of local communities in order to support them. An intimate, slow-paced story without peaks and troughs. A sincere narrative with a thread of melancholy, a tale of rugged mountains, the Ötztal Alps in the Austrian Tyrol and the Dolomites in South-Tyrol, where you mainly have to work hard and be passionate about it.
